2. Knowledge formation activities (32’)
- T introduces :
- Ss pay attention to teacher and take notes.
- T explains the requirement of exercises a.

- T calls Ss to give the answers.
- T checks and corrects the answers if necessary.

* Ss complete their speech.
A speech usually has three parts: Introduction, body and conclusion.
a. Match each part of a speech in column A to a suitable function in column B.

- T checks and corrects the answers if necessary.
b. Put the following sentences in the correct place to complete a speech.

Good afternoon, my friends. I’m Lan and today I’m going to tell you how to reduce garbage.
You know, we are producing a lot of garbage everyday. Our environment is being polluted seriously. Follow me, you can reduce garbage by :
Firstly: we can collect plastic bags.
Secondly: We can put different kinds of waste in different places.
Finally : You shouldn’t keep solid waste with food waste
I hope that if you follow these simple rules, not only you save you money, time, but also you save our environment.
