- Ask and answer about their names, where they are from and what nationality they are.
- Practice writing, listening and speaking skills.

Warm-up: Spend a few minutes revising the previous lesson by asking the class to say the chant What nationality ate you? Devide the class into 2 groups, each group saying one verse of the chant.
4. Read and complete
- Tell Ss that they are going to read the text and complete the table.
- Give Ss a few seconds to look at the pictures. Point to the children in the pictures and ask: Who’s in the picture? Where r they?...
- Tell Ss that the text will tell them more about the children. They will know which cities they are from.
- Set a time limit for Ssto do the task independently. Walk around monitoring and offering help.
- Get Ss to show their answers then correct.

5. Let’s write:
- Get Ss to look at the activity 5 and guess what they’re going to do.
- Help them to understand the task and set a time for them to do the task independently.
- Call some Ss to read aloud their answers.
- Give feedback.
6. Project
- Help them to undertand the project and tell them what they need to prepare.
- Tell them to select a country and write down the infomations on the blanks.
- Display some cards and give feedback.
*Consolidation:
- Tell them to review the unit at home.
- Do all the exercises of the unit 2 in workbook.

- Ask and answer “what day is it today?” , “what do you do on___?”
- Practice listening and speaking skills.

* Vocabularies : twelve months, ordinal numbers.

Warm up: Sing a song.

1.Look, listen and repeat.
- Tell Ss that they are going to read a story in which pupils ask and answer questions about days of the week.
-Give them a few minutes to look at the pictures and read the story. Then ask some questions to check what they understand about the story.
- Play the recording 2 times, ask them listen and repeat.

2. Point and say.
- Tell Ss to practice asking the question “What day is it today?” and answer with “It’s + name of the day”
- Get them to point to the name of each day on the calendar and repeat each twice.
- Call some pairs to act out.
-Give feedback.
*Consolidation:
- Ask Ss to learn by heart name of the days in week.
- Do homework on workbook.
