I. Aims:
- To help ss read a text to understand the details and practise food vocabulary.
- To help ss use “I don’t like....., either”; “I like....., too”; “Neither do I”; “So do I” to express preferences.
- To develop ss’skills.
II. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to understand the reading and use “too, either, so, neither” to express preferences.
III. Ways of working: T - WC, team work, pair work, individual work.
IV. Materials: Text book, cards, tape, pictures.
V. Anticipated problems: The activities post reading may be difficult for some ss.
VI. Teaching steps:
1. Warm up: (1 minute) Greet and check the ss’ attendance.

- Too / So dùng trong câu khẳng đinh.
- Either / Neither dùng trong câu phủ định.

* Survey:

* Report back:
- Students look at their survey and report back the things their friends like and dislike, using too, so, either or neither.
E.g: S1: - I like durians and Nga does, too. (Or: so does Nga)
- I don`t like peas and Ha doesn`t either.
(Or Neither does Ha).
