+Have pupils look at the picture and describe it. Draw pupils' attention to the letter er.
+Ask pupils to point to the letter er. Have them listen and repeat the sound of the er
+ Show the picture and elicit the answer of who the characters are.
+Tell pupils to point to the word sister. Ask them to listen and repeat the word brother,
sister and grandmother

+ Repeat the same procedure with the brother, grandmother.
. Give further support to those pupils who find it difficult to do the task.
+ Play the recording again and have them listen, point to the letter er and

- Give ss time to write the text independently.
- Get ss to swap their books with a partner and check their
writing before checking as a class.
- Invite one student to read the complete text in front of
the class. The class listens and praises their work.
Suggested answer:
I want to visit Ha Long Bay for my holiday. It is very
beautiful and exciting. It is about two hundred kilometres
from my village. I can go there by coach. I can take a
board tour around the islands, swim in the sea, eat sea
food and stay in a hotel by the sea. Go to Ha Long Bay
and enjoy your holiday.
Activity 3.

Project.

place of interest and present them to the class.
