T. asks Ss. to play the game to check their revision.

Model sentences:
How many [ doors ] are there?
-> There’ s one / a [ door ]
How many windows are there?
-> There’re [ two windows ]
Rules of changing singular noun to plural noun: N + S/ES
Nouns end : -s, -x, -z, -ch, -sh => Noun +ES -> / iz/
Nouns end : -k, -p, -t, -f, -th / / => Noun +S -> /s/
The rest nouns => Nouns +S -> /z/
Ex: a book -> books -> /s/
a class -> classes -> /iz/
a ruler -> rulers -> /z/

3/ Practice (20’)
Practice with a partner (B4/p37)
Eg:
T: How many books are there?
S: There’re four.
Picture drill:
Eg:
T: How many students are there?
S: There’re 48.
Eg:
S1: How many teachers are there?
S2: There is one.
So on
B5. Count the items :
