UNIT 10: STAYING HEALTHY
SECTION A: (A4, 5, 6, 8)
I. OBJECTIVES
1. Knowledge:
Students ask and to answer about feeling, talk about wants and needs.
a. Grammar: - adjectives.
- would like.
- polite requests.
- quantifiers: some, any.
b. Vocabulary: Related to the topic “staying healthy”.
2. Skills: Listening, speaking, reading and writing.
3. Attitude: Ss will be educated about staying healthy.
II. TECHNIQUES
- Communicative approach
- Eliciting, listening and repeating, playing roles, practicing in individual, practicing in pairs, asking and answering.
III. TEACHING AIDS
1. Teacher’s aids: student’s and teacher’s book, color chalks, pictures, smart pen...
2. Students’ aids: books, notebooks, workbooks.

1. Greeting and checking attendance (1’)

T calls two Ss to role play the dialogue and to answer the questions:

* Practice:
- T has Ss work in pairs, ask and answer about Nam and Ba.
- Ss work in pairs.
- T has Ss ask and answer before the class.
- T corrects any mistakes if necessary.
4. Ask and answer about Nam, Lan and Ba.
Example:
- How does Lan feel?
She is hot and thirsty.
- What would she like?
She would like some orange juice.
* Further practice:
- T has Ss look at the pictures then guess what the people in the pictures would like.
- Ss look at the pictures and guess.

Minh: I want noodles.
c) Hoa: What’s the matter, Ngọc?
Ngọc: I’m thirsty.
Hoa: What do you want?
Ngọc: I want a drink
