Lesson 4: B-Our food (B1)
I. Objective:
- By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to talk about food and some diseases from food.
II. Preparation:
-Vocabulary: terrible, dirt, carefully
- Structure : The dirt can make me sick.

I. WARM – UP
- Have them play a game “ net words “ to tell all of
diseases which they know.
- Check for them
- Give situation:
“ Everyday there are a lot of diseases Ex: ..... Ask:
Did you have stomachache?
Why did you have it?
What should you do to prevent?
- Introduce the lesson
II. PRESENTATION
+ New words:
-sick (a)
-terrible (a) = awful (a)
-probably (a)
-dirt (n) -> dirty (a)
-carefully ( adv )
+ Structure:
The dirt can make me sick.

-> Give it meaning.
- Present a picture, give situation and ask:
1. Where are they?
2. What was the matter with Ba?
3. Why was he there?
- Write their guess on the board.
- Play the tape (one )
- Have them read the text again to check.

III. PRACTICE
- Play the tape once more
- Let them play role the dialogue.
- Ask some couples to read the dialogue.
- Give them questions
1. Did Ba’s parents eat rice soup and fish?
2. Who ate spinach?
3. Why must he wash vegetables carefully?

- Give them another exercise in the book.
- Have them play chain game to write the keys on

- Have them work in groups to find some reason of stomachache.
Ex: - Don’t wash vegetables carefully.
- Eat too much food
- Drink cold water
- Eat green fruit
- Check for every group and give them an open
dialogue.
