I. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:
* Language content:
To introduce some new words relating to food and diet.
To anable the sts to revise the simple present tense.
* Language function:
To help the students ask and answer about balanced diet.
* Educational aim:
By the end of the lesson, the sts are aware of the importance of blanced diet.
1. Language:
a. Vocabulary:
Affect, moderate, energy, amount, balanced diet, cereal
Lifestyle, moderation, variety, guideline, body-buiding food.
b. Structure:
The present simple tense.
2. Skill: Integrated skills: Reading
3. Educational factor:
Knowing how to eat sensibly, how to have a balanced diet.
II. TEACHER AND STUDENTS’ PREPARATION:
1. Method: Communicative Approach:
2. Techniques: Repection, explanation, using pictures, group – work.
3. Materials needed: Text book, pictures, charts.
4. Students’ preparation: Reading B2 at home.
