A – What shall we eat ? ( A1 )
I. Aims:
- By the end of the lesson , Ss will be able to understand the details and practice food vocabulary .
- Focus on reading skill .
II. Teaching Aids:
Extra boards. pictures , tape , cassette .
III. Procedures:
1.Class organization:
Greetings.
Checking the attendances.
2.Review of the previous lesson:
Have Ss play a game : Kim’s game .
( Use the pictures : fish , chicken , beef , milk , bananas, apples , carrots , oranges )
Call the students to go to the board and write again .
Ask Ss some questions such as :
+ Do you usually go to the market ?
+ Who do you often go to the market with ?
+ What do you often see / buy at the market ?

-Introduce the situation of the lesson to Ss and ask Ss to guess what Hoa and her aunt bought at the market .
-Have Ss look at the pictures and listen to the tape .
-Ask Ss to look at the book and read after the tape .
-Explain some new words and structures to Ss .
-Have Ss play a game : What and where .
-Ask Ss to read the dialogues in pairs .
-Call on some pairs to practice reading in front of the class .
-Correct their pronunciation .
-Ask Ss to read the dialogues again to find out the answer in the book .
-Have Ss play a game : Lucky numbers
-Listen to the teacher and guess what they bought .
Look at the pictures and listen to the tape .
-Read after the tape
-Listen and write .
-Read new words
-Make sentences as models.
