A. Aims: Help Ss revise the main ideas in the English 7 and get ready to learn English 8.
B. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, the students will be able to remind something about some main grammar stuctures of grade 7 the simple present, progressive tense, future tense, past simple and know how to learn well in the new school year .

I.Warm - up:
5 minutes
- Greet and check attendance.
- Help Ss Sing a song “Sing a song” (if possible)
- Ask Ss. to sing a song in the hold class

II. New lesson:
1.Presentation
15 minutes
* Matching table:
- Ask Ss to work in group of 6 Ss.
- Divide class in to 4 group each group has a different duty.
- Ask Ssto repeat the uses and forms of each tense.
- Group 1: The simple tense (usages and form).


- Group 2: the present Progressive tense.


- Group 3: the Future tense.


- Group 4: the past simple.
- Ask each group hang all the result they’ve disscused on the board to correct.
- Listen and repeat the uses and forms of them.

* Matching table:
- Work in group of 6 Ss.



- Repeat the uses and forms of each tense.
- Group 1: The simple tense (usages and form).


- Group 2: the present Progressive tense.



- Group 3: the Future tense.


- Group 4: the past simple.

1. The tenses:
- Present simple:

- Present progressive:
* Form: S + tobe +V +ing + O
* Notes: Now, At present, At the moment, Look! Listen! ...
Simple future:
* Form:

* Notes: Tomorrow, tonight,next.
- Past simple:
* Tobe: Was, Were
