Objectives
By the end of this lesson, students will be able to obtain the following:
1. Language knowledge and skills
Vocabulary: Count numbers, draw pictures, spell words, sing songs, read books, play soccer.
Sentence pattern: “I count numbers on Monday”. “I draw pictures on Tuesday”.
Skills: To be able to say the sentences “I count numbers on Monday”. “I draw pictures on Tuesday”.
2. Competences
Self-control and independent learning: Building up an awareness of taking care of others in their
family or community.
Communication and collaboration: Being collaborative and supportive in teamwork.
Critical thinking and creativity: Building up non-verbal communication skills through feeling
expression.

Procedures
A. Warm up (5 minutes)
Select one of the two activities to do a warm-up activity.
a. Objectives: Students can recall the vocab and write the sentences with the word.
b. Content: Recalling the vocab and write the sentences with the word.
c. Expected outcomes and assessment:
- Task completed with excellence: Students can recall the vocab and write the sentences with the
word correctly and quickly.
- Task completed: Students can recall the vocab and write the sentences with the word correctly.
- Task uncompleted: Students can recall the vocab and write the sentences with the word but with
some difficulties.

Option 1: "Flashcard walk" game
- Divide the class into four teams.
- Be ready to join the game to

performs an action and says a sentence with the corresponding
action. Then his/her team says "choo, choo" and moves
towards the board one step.
- Have children continue to imitate the actions and say the
sentences until the actions come to the last students.
- The team that reaches the board first will win.
