III. Procedures :
1.Class organization
Greetings
Checking attendance
2. Review of the previous lesson
2 or 3 students greet each other at different time and place .
3. New lesson:

- T asks Ss some questions.
- Correct and give feedback.
- Ss answer the questions.
1. Who are they in the picture ?
2. Where are they ?
3. What they doing ?
4. What is the teacher doing ?
5. What are the students doing ?
6. What are they talking about ?

- T points to the picture, setting up the scene : They are Miss Lien and Hoa. Hoa is a new classmate. So Miss Lien asks Hoa about her name and address. Now listen to the dialog between Miss Lien and Hoa
- T explains new words and structures
- Students listen to the tape
- Students listen to the tape again and repeat the dialog after the tape
- Work in pairs to play the roles of Miss Lien and Hoa , then changing the roles .

 B1.Listen.Then practice with a partner.

- Some pairs perform before class .
- Checking comprehension (questions a – d )
- Working in pairs to ask and answer the questions

 Answer the questions
a.Hoa is talking to Miss Lien .
b.Hoa’s family name is Pham .
c.Her middle is Thi .
d.She live at 12 Tran Hung Dao street .


- Review WH – questions : Who, What, Where, How
- Pointing to the picture, setting up the scene : they are Nga and Lan. They are talking about a new student, Hoa in class 7A . Now read the dialog between Nga and Lan .
- Teacher gives correct answers : who, where , what , how
.

- Students read the dialog between Nga and Lan again and fill in the missing question words.
- Students compare their answer in pair
- Some pair perform the dialog before class.
- Students copy down the correct answers in their notebooks
B2. Write. Complete this dialogue.
* The answers:

5/Homework
Practice greeting and introducing others of different ages
