A/ Objectives: By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to know & talk about some celebrations in the world for details.

* Vocab: about some celebrations in the world.
* Grammar: relative clauses, adverb clauses of concession
-Techniques: chatting, eliciting, questions & answers, pair/group work
- Teaching aids: pictures & sub- boards.
- Time: 45 minutes

- T asks ss some questions
- Sts answer them
- T: elicit the new lesson “ March
8th is called Woman’s Day ( celebration

-Let ss think of the name of the celebrations on over the world they’ve know.
- T: write them on the board.
- T: ask : What do people do on Teacher’s Day?
- T has ss look at the pictures & read the names of the celebrations
- T asks ss to match the words with the icons

(2/ T introduces the new lesson: going to study a text about the celebrations.
- Sts listen to the text, closing the books and find out which celebrations in the text are .

- Sts listen to the tape of the lesson, following the text
- Sts find out the words , phrases about events, activities, things, dishes… relating each celebration, write them on the table
- Ss read the words
- T explains the new structures
