I.OBJECTIVES :
- After the lesson Ss will be able to:
Ask and answer about logical sports activities in seasons.

Know how to use “When” clause and Wh-question fluently.

Presentation (17’)
Warm-up (5’):*Brainstorm
Set up the sence: What do you do on the weekend?
Ask students to think of town and the country.
Get them to go to the board and write down their ideas.
Give feedback.

Pastimes

Review some words about weather and seasons.
T asks:
How many ways to ask about the weather? What are they?
What the weather like in the spring, summer, fall (autumn), winter?
What do you do when it’s hot/cold/cool/warm?
Ss write these answers on the board
T introduces new structure.















Ss give the form, meaning and use.









Structure:
Ex:
What do you do when it`s hot?
When it`s hot, I go swimming.
What does Ba do when it`s cold?
When it`s cold, he plays soccer.

(When it’s..., S + V...........
*Attention: when (Wh-q.w) ≠when (conjunction).

Practice

Task 1: Matchthe picture with the right sentences (book close)
T hangs the four pictures in the part A4on the board
T asks Ss to match these onces with the four sentences prepared
Ss do the exercises
T corrects.
Task 2: Read the text (book open)
T calls one pair does a model
Ss ask and answer about Ba’s activities in each weather (pair work).
Does Ba go swimming when it’s cold?
What does Ba do when it’s warm?
Task 3: Make and answer the questions (book close)
Run through the cues.
Hold up the first cues and say the model sentences.

Ss do the same for the otherscues.
Task 4: Gap filling (book open)
Get students to change the text about Baand write about themselves.
