- Ask Ss to give some relative pronouns they have learnt.
- Give true pairs of sentences and ask Ss to combine them into new ones.

* Grammar :
a) What is the name of the girl?
She has just gone out.
-> What is the name of the girl who has just gone out?
b) Viet Nam exports rice.
Viet Nam is in the Southeast Asia.
( Viet Nam, which is in the Southeast Asia, exports rice.

2. Knowledge formation activities (36’)

1. Rewrite
- T explains the requirement of the exercises and the example.
- Ss pay attention to teacher’s explanation.
- Ss do exercises in pairs.
- T calls some pairs to ask and answer before the class.
- T checks and corrects any mistakes if necessary.
- Ss copy down the correct answers.
