UNIT 15: DO YOU HAVE ANY TOYS?
LESSON 2: PARTS 4, 5, 6

A. Objective: By the end of this unit, pupils will be able to:

1. Warm up: (2’)
-Check up
- Check up the vocabulary in old lesson.


- Give the students five minutes.

- Introduce new lesson.


Listen and number (8’)
- Ask sts observe the picture and answer the questions.





- Play the recording twice: once for pupils to listen all the way through and once for them to do the task.

- Pause after each part for pupils to have sufficient time to number the pictures.
- Get pupils to correct their answers in
pairs. Then ask some pupils to report the
answers to the class. In case there is disagreement on any answer, play the recording related to the part again.

3. Read and write: (10’)
- Say about what they will do.
- Ask Ps to read the passage and pay attention to the name of character and their toys.
- Ask pupils to do the task in individual.
- Monitor the activity and offer help when necessary.
- Pair works. Have pupils trade their answers in pairs for correction.
- Call on some pupils to report their answers. The rest of the class listen and give comments.





4. Let’s sing (10’)
- Tell them that they are going to sing a song Linda has a little doll.
- Read the lyrics.
- Play the recording all the way through.
- Sing each line of the lyrics.
- Have the students repeat a few times.
- Hold a singing competition.




5. Homelink: (1’)
- Review vocabulary about toys.
- Be ready for Unit 15– Lesson 3: 1, 2, 3.


- Write the new words in your paper: yoyo, diều, máy bay, con tàu, đồ chơi.
- Give some comments to their performance.
Unit 15: Do you have any toys? Lesson 2. Parts 4, 5, 6.
- Open your book on page 32
- Look at the pictures in part 4 page 32
- Now, who can tell me “who are they and what are they having in picture a, b, c, and d?”

d. Linda – a puzzle.
- You will listen to the conversations about asking and answering about the toys of someone and then number the pictures in the right order.
- Listen all through.
- Listen and number.
- Listen and check your answers.
- Correct your answers in pairs.
- Report your answers to the class.

- Read the passage and underline the the name of the character and the toys that they have.
- Read the passage individually and do the task and underline the evidence which can help you to give the answer.

I like to call two groups of six to the front of the class to sing: one group sings the first two lines and the other group sings the third, and the two groups sing the last line. The remaining of the class claps along to the song.
