* Game: “Collect the letters”

+ Objectives: To help the students review the
numbers.
+ Procedures
- Greet the class. Ask students to look at the
pictures and guess the words (street, road,
village, city).
If students can correctly say and spell the word,
they get a letter. After guessing all of the
words, they look at the letters, unscramble to
find out the key word of the lesson.
- Get students to open their books at page 16
and look at Unit 2, Lesson 1, Activity 1. Write
the title Our homes on the board and read it for
the class to repeat a few times.
- Tell students what they will learn in this
lesson.
II. PRESENTEATION (8 minutes)

+ Objectives: To help the students understand

- Tell students how the game is played.
- Prepare the pictures about homes.
- Put a picture on the board and cover it with a
piece of paper. Very slowly move the paper to
reveal the picture, little by little.
- Ask “What's this?”. Ask students to name the
picture, e.g. It's a house.
- The first student to guess correctly comes to
the front to choose the next picture.
- Continue the game until all of the words from
the vocabulary set are said.
- Praise students if they play the game well.

A. OBJECTIVES
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
I. Knowledge
- listen to and understand two communicative contexts in which speakers ask and answer
questions about their addresses and circle the correct pictures;
- complete two gapped dialogues with the help of picture cues;
- listen to and complete the song Homes and to sing it with the correct pronunciation, rhythm
and melody.
II. Competences
- Self-control and independent learning: review the vocabulary and the sentence patterns
about their addresses
- Communication and collaboration: work in pairs or groups review the vocabulary and the
sentence patterns about their addresses
- Critical thinking and creativity: learn how to review the vocabulary and the sentence
patterns about their addresses correctly.

C. PROCEDURES
TEACHER'S ACTIVITIES
I. WARM UP (5 minutes)
* Game: “Bingo”
numbers from 70 to 99
+Objectives: To help the students review the
phrases about numbers.
+ Procedures
- Explain how to play the game.
- Ask the students to choose 10 numbers from
70 to 99 in random and write them on their
paper.
- Show a flashcard to the class. If they have the
word, they tick it. The student who ticks all 5
words they have chosen shouts “Bingo!” and
wins the game.
- Praise the winner.
- Tell students what they will learn in this
lesson.
II. ACTIVITY 1 (8 minutes)
* Listen and circle. (Track 20)
+ Objectives: To help the students listen to and
understand two communicative contexts in
which speakers ask and answer questions about
their addresses and circle the correct pictures.
+ Procedures
- Ask students to look at the pictures and
identify the numbers of the addresses in the
pictures.
 How many pictures are there?
 What can you see in each picture?
- Play the recording for students to listen all the
way through.
- Play the recording again for students to circle
the correct picture.
- Get students to swap their books with a
partner and then check answers as a class. Write
the correct answers on the board.
- Play the recording the third for the students to
double-check their answers.
