II/ New lesson: Set the scene: (1’)
ngày, khi nói chuyện với nhau, chúng thường kể lại rất nhiều sự việc đã xảy ra, và cả việc thuật lại lời nói của người khác. Bài học hôm nay sẽ hướng dẫn các em cách thức tường thuật lại lời nói, câu chuyện hay sự việc đó ( reported speech).

- Explain the way to change a sentence from direct speech into reported speech. (10’).
a. Thay đổi về đại từ nhân xưng và tính từ sở hữu:
this( that, these( those, my( his/ her, here( there, yesterday( the day before, tomorrow( the next day/the following day, now( then…
b. Lùi lại một thì so với câu trực tiếp.
Ex: “ I’ve missed my train”( he said he’d missed his train.
Ex2:” What are you doing here”( He asked what I was doing there.
c. Nếu câu trực tiếp là câu hỏi, khi chuyển sang gián tiếp phải đảo chủ ngữ ra trước động từ, và ko còn dấu chấm hỏi nữa.
Ex: “What is your name?”( He asked me what my name was.
d.Nếu câu trực tiếp là câu hỏi yes/ no, thì ta sử dụng if/ whether.
Ex: “ Do you like coffee?”( He asked me if/ whether I liked coffee.
