A. Pre - wriring:
a. Pre - teach:
-to thank s.o for s.th : cảm ơn ai về việc gì.
-eg: She thanked me for helping her.
-to cheer s.o up : to make s.o feel happier.
-to come over : to come round to :đi đến một nơi xa.
T reads newords first and then ask Ss to repeat.
b.Checking vocabulary: R.O.R
c. Answering some questions:
-Have you ever written a thank - you leter?
B. While - writing:
-T asks Ss to compare the thank - you note Nga sent to Hoa after she left the hospital. Use the correct tense forms of the verbs in brackets.








-T corrects
-Asking Ss to write down their answers on the board.



+Write a thank - you note to a friend. Invite your friend to go on a picnic with you. Arrange to contact your friend. Use the following questions to guide your writing.
-T asks Ss to answer the questions.
a. What did your friend give / sent you ?
On what occasion?
b.How did you feel when you received the present?
c. How do you feel now?
d. Do you want to invite your friend somewhwre?
e.How will you contact your friend?
Ss answer the questions and then write a letter.











C. Post - writing:
T asks Ss to use the same format to write another letter to another friend for other occasions.
