-Show a letter and ask Ss some questions.

A. Pre - speaking:
I. Pre- teach vocabulary:
-air - mail : letter or parcel sent by air.
-surface mail : letter or parcel sent by bus, train or ship.
-to charge : tính giá
(n): phí, lệ phí.
-parcel (n): bưu kiện.
T reads first and then ask Ss to repeat in chorus and individual.
II. Checking vocabulary: R.O.R
+Set the scene: Mrs. Kim wants to send a parcel to Qui Nhon, so she has to go to the post office.
B. While - speaking:
- T asks Ss to repeat the dialogue.
- Role- play.
-T corrects.
-Have Ss make similar dialogues.
+Set the scene: Mrs. Lan wants to post a letter air - mail.Ask Ss to make the dialogue between Lan and the clerk in the post office.
Get Ss to practice the dialogue in pairs.
2.post card / HCM city / airmail / 15g.
3.parcel / Ca Mau / airmail / 2kg.
4.parcel / Buon Ma Thuoc / surface / 5kgs.
C. Post - speaking:
Asking Ss to practice in pairs. ( Free - activity ).
Ss listen and answer questions .
-A letter.
-At the post office.
-Stick stamp on it.
-800 VN dong.
Ss copy down.
Ss repeat in chorus and individual.
Ss repeat in pairs.
Clerk: Can I help you?
Mrs. Lan: I want to send a letter to Kontum.
Clerk: Do you want to send it airmail or surface?
Mrs. Lan: I send it airmail. How much is it?
Clerk: Let me see. 15gr, it`s only 1200 dongs.
Mrs. Lan: Here you are.
