I. Warm up:
T - Greet class.
Ps- Greet teacher.
II. New lesson:
1. Look,listen and repeat.
T- Have pupils turn their book page 6.
Ask pupils the names of the characters and what they say.
Explain the difference between Hi and Hello.
Show the picture and elecit the characters in the picture an what they are saying.
Let pupls listen and repeat the new words, sentences after the teacher.
Call some pupils to read the new words, sentences before te class.
Ps - Look at the pictures and listen.
Listen carefully and repeat. Write down. Read aloud.
2. Point and say.
T- Have pupils look at the pictures. Ask them to identify the characters in the pictures.
Ask pupils repeat the phrases a few times.
Call on a pair and ask them to pretend to be Nam and Mai to act out the greeting exchange.
Call on more pair to act out Miss Hien and Nam, following the same way with Mai and Quan. Check pronunciation.
Have the whole class repeat all the phrases in chorus to reinforce their pronunciation.
Ps: Look at the pictures and identify the characters in the pictures.
