I. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to listen and read for specific information then practice listening and speaking with the lexical items related to the topic "Television".

1.Warm-up
-Answer the questions:

Do you usually watch TV?

2.Getting started.
-Look at the of the book and answer the questions:
-Listen to the instruction of the lesson.
-Who are they ?
-What are they talking about?
-1. Which channel are they talking about?
Who are they talking about?
-Today we will learn agout programmes on television

3.Doing
-Look at the part 1 and listen to the instruction of the dialogue.
-Listen to the tape twice and guess the meaning of the new words, read after in chorus and write down.
- Play the game “Rub out and remember” with the new words.
-Read the dialogue and answer the questions of part 1a
-Read again the dialogue then find adjectives to describe each character.
-Answer:
-You are going to listen and read the conversation between Phong and Hung, talking about television.
