I. OBJECTIVES
By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to greet other with "hello" and "hi".
Introducing about oneself.
II. LANGUAGE CONTENT
Vocabulary: pronoun: I, you, Alan...
Phonics : "h, i" in the words " hi, hello" .
Grammar : Hello, hi.
The structure "I am + name.
III. PREPERATIONS
teacher: books, notebook,tape….
student: notebook……
IV. PROCEDURE

1.Warm up
Teacher- whole class
*Chatting.
- Asks ss some questions in Vietnames.
+ What do you say when you meet your friends?
- Answer the teacher`s question.
+ Greeting, introduces about ourselves)
- Listen to the teacher
- T introduces the new lesson
2. Presentation.
Teacher- whole class
a. Pre-teach.
- T elicits vocabulary from ss.
Hello : (situation)
Hi : (symnonym)
- Check stress .
-Write vocabulary in their notebooks
- Check vocabulary (R O R).
b. Presentation text.
Teacher- whole class
*Set the sence: T uses the picture in the book and introduces.( They are Nam and Mai. They are students in Vietnam. They meet each other at the school and they are greeting).
- Asks ss to look at the book and listen to the tape two times.
- Asks ss to listen and repeat after the tape.
Pair work
- Asks ss to practice the text.
- Listen and correct mistakes
c. Model sentences.

- T elicits model sentences from ss.
S1: Hi . I am Alan.
S2: Hello, Alan. I am Lili.
* Form : I am + name .
* Use : Introducing about ourselves.
* Notice : I am = I`m
- Check meaning, form, use, and pronunciation.

*Picture cue drill.
- Asks ss to use the pictures LiLi, Mai, Nam, Alan, Lida, Peter for ss to practice.

Ex. S1: Hi, LiLi. I am Peter.
S2: Hello, Peter. I am Alan.
-Listen and correct mistakes for students.

- Asks some ss to go to the boad to greet his or her classmates and then introduces about themselves.
- Listen and correct mistakes.
