1-Do you think life will be better in the future? Why? Why not?

Task 1:
-Giải thích một số từ vựng
Optimistic, optimist, pessimistic, pessimist, thanks to, modern labour-saving device, medical system, employee, unemployed.
-Yêu cầu hs đọc đoạn văn sau đây và ghi True / False
1- optimists believe that in the future our life will be better thanks to many modern labour-saving devices.
2-We will work less hours, and have more time to relax and entertain.
3-They consider that with the modern medical system, our health will be looked after better.
4- People will live longer. And with the development of science and technology we can travel to anywhere even to the moon.
5- We can use solar energy as a main source of energy and we won’t have to worry any more.
6-However, pessimists think that, robots will do most of the work in the office or in the factory one day.
7-It means that people don’t need many employees, so the unemployment will increase.
8-Bedises,the modern industry will cause pollutions such as air pollution, environmental pollution, and our life will be threatened.
