OBJECTIVES:
Knowledge:
Students continue talking about the topic: traveling. This time, they are going to travel abroad.
Vocabulary:
surprise (n), include (v), come over (v)
pick somebody up (Vphr)
Abroad (adv) = in a foreign country.
Grammar:
Making an invitation.
Would you like to come and stay with us?
Acceptance: Yes, I’d love to.
Refusal: That’s a very kind of you but …
Making a complain:
Present continuous with always
Ex: He’s always working.
Skill:
All four skills are improved.
Attitude:
Students have chance to travel some countries.
PREPARATION:
Teacher: lesson plan, laptop, projector, chalk, speakers, textbook, teacher book, pictures.
Students: textbook, notebook, copy book, pen, exercise book, reading lesson at home, self – learning at home.
Techniques: peer correction.
Difficulties: some students didn’t well – prepared at home.

- Match the names of the countries in the box with appropriate pictures/ flags
- Tell your partner which country do you like to visit and why?
-T introduces the lesson.
-Ss work in pair.

A: Why?
B: Because Australian people are friendly.
-Ss write the title.

-Teach vocabulary.
- Ask Ss to copy the vocabulary.
- Checking: ask Ss to match the words with their meaning.

3/ While – practicing (15’):
-T asks Ss to listen for the first time.
- Close your books then predict the answer.
-Ask Ss to open their books.
- Play the tape again.
- Ask Ss to check T, F again.
- T corrects.
- Ask Ss to practice the dialogue in pair.
- Ask Ss to do the exercise individually.
- T corrects and gives keys.
- Guide Ss to play the game Lucky Stars.
- There are six numbers from 1 – 8. Only two numbers contain lucky stars. For the rest, each number contains 1 question.
-Ss follow teacher’s instruction.
- Close books and listen, then predict.
- Open books.
-Listen again.
- Ss use peer correction skill.
