I.Aims
Pupils will be able to express likes or dislike and give reasons..
practice listening, speaking and writing skill, do exercises in the workbook

Teacher’s aids: Tape cassette, pictures, poster, word cards.
Students’ aids: book, notebook, workbook.

1.Vocabulary: pretty , scary ,funny , bulky:, make a lot of fun
2.Sentence patterns: I like monkeys because they are funny.
I don’t like elephants because they are bulky.

Look at the pictures and answer

Look at the pictures and identify the animals
Tell them that they are going to practise expressing their likes or dislikes:

Note: I like monkeys because they are funny.
(Tớ thích những con khỉ bởi vì chúng vui vẻ.)
I don’t like elephants because they are bulky.
( Tớ không thích những con voi bởi vì chúng kênh càng.)
Ask pupils to work in pair to practise expressing likes or dislikes and giving reasons.
Call some pairs to act out
Correct the mistakes

Look at the book on page 47.
Tell them that they are going to complete the sentences ex[ressing likes or dislikes towards zoo animals.
Help pupils to identify the names and characteristics of the animals
Ask pupils to complete the sentences individually ..
Check and correct.
