I.Objectives :By the end of the lesson, students will be able to understand the text talking about Thu

1.Grammar: - There is a hotel near the lake.
- There are trees and flowers in the park.
- What is there + Prepositions of position
2. Vocabulary: lake hotel river park rice paddy tree near flower yard
III. Teaching aids: Textbook, lesson plan, cassette, tape, pictures.

T lets Ss play a game. ( Slap the borad)
Ss play game as directed.
T asks Ss to look at the picture A1 (page 62) and asks Ss:
+ What is this/that?
+What are these/those?
Ss look at the picture, listen and answer.
T introduces the new lesson.
T plays the tape once.
Ss listen. (Book-closed).
T writes and explains new words on the board.
Ss listen, copy, say their meanings and read in chorus and individuals
-T checks the students understanding of new words by using the technique “Rub Out And Remember”
T plays the tape A1 twice, second times stop each sentence & ask Ss to repeat .
Ss listen and repeat in chorus. (Book-opened).
T plays the tape twice.
Ss listen and repeat in chorus.
T calls some Ss to read A1 in front of the class.
