Unit 1: MY NEW SCHOOL
Lesson 1: Getting Started
I. Objectives:
1. Knowledge, skills, attitude:
- Knowledge: By the end of this lesson, students can know the key language and structures to be learnt in this unit.
+ Vocabulary: the items related to the school
+ Grammar note: The present simple and the present continuous tense.
- Skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
- Student’s attitude: hard, concentrated and active.

II. Preparation:
- Teacher: text book, extra board, cassette tape and real objects.
