Educational aim:through the lesson, students will be able to:
Understand the structure of a profile
Write a profile based on the information provided

a. General knowledge: Students learn how to write a profile based on prompts provided.
b. Language: The simple past of verbs and the connectors often used in a profile.
Skill:Writing a profile.

Method: Communicative approach.
Teaching aids: textbook, blackboard, chalk, computer, screen, handout, group’s paper, whiteboard marker, etc.

WARM – UP: Guessing Game (5’)
- Give instructions: Ss will play this game in 2 teams. They have to look at the screen, read the information of some famous singers and musicians, and give the names of those people. One correct answer will receive 10 marks. Which team’s quicker and give more correct answers will be the winner.
- Check ss’ understanding of the instruction.

- She is a Vietnamese pop singer.
- She was born in Da Nang in 1981.
- Her best-known songs are "HoạMiTócNâu" and "ƯớcGì".
2. Trinh Cong Son

- He was born in DakLak in 1939.
- He wrote such famous song as “Biểnnhớ”, “Diễmxưa”, “Mộtcõiđivề”, etc.
