Lesson: 1 GETTING STARTED AND LISTEN AND READ

I. Aims:
1. Knowledge:
- To introduce some words relating to facilities of communication
- To enable them to open their knowledge about facilities of communication
2. Skills: Integrated skills
3. Attitude: To know how to talk on the phone politely.
4. Objectives:
a. Vocabulary : Fax machine, Hold on , public telephone, mobile phone,
telephone directory, answering machine,downstair.
b. Structure: - Present progressive with future meaning
Eg : I am using my cousin’s bike tonight .
II. Ways of working: T- WC, pair- work, individual- work.
III. Materials: Text book, picture.
IV. Anticipated problem : There is no difficult in this lesson.
V. Procedure:
1. Organization: Greeting to the students
Checking absence: Who’s absent today?
2. Warm – up :
- Calls on a student to go to the board to ask some questions:
* Questions: 1-Where does Nien live ?
2-How many friends does Ba have?
3- Let’s describe a friend in our class and ask your friends Who is she/he ?
* Keys to questions:1-Nien lives in Hue.
2-He has 3 friends.Bao, Khai and Song.
3-students’ answers.
- Corrects the mistakes , gives remark and marks.
