I > AIMS _ Reading a dialogue for details about the questions in an exam.
_ By the end of this lesson , students were supplied the ways of learning a foreign language
and the questions which mentioned in Oral exam . Students also discuss and share the best ways of learning foreign language.
_ Students should be taught to share some informations about the ways of learning foreign language and the importance of English nowadays.

_ Ask sts to give the differences about the languages in 2 sentences.

How to learn a foreign language ( English) effectively and how to improve your English, today we’ll learn Unit 4 LEARNING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE to know that.
_ Teacher holds sts to play “ Net work “ about the ways of learning English.
_ Teacher divides class into 2 teams.
+ Students from each team close their books and play the game by giving the ways of learning English .
+ Any team has many best ways of learning English will win the game.
_ Teacher observes , corrects and give sts some suggested ways of learning English.
+ Students observe and take notes.
_ Teacher asks sts to look at the list of things of learning English. ( Teacher hangs an extra board )
_ Teacher explains some ways of learning English.
_ Teacher asks sts to check (() things they do from the list. Students can add more things they do or they want to do.
+ Students works in pairs and compare their lists with partners.
_ Teacher asks sts to read the list of ways they choose.




_ Teacher asks sts “ How often do you…….?”
+ Sts use adverbs of frequency to answer the question.
_ Teacher corrects and give sts possible answers.

_ Teacher rubs out a word in English and points to Vietnamese translation and asks “ What’s this in English?”. When all the English words are rubbed out , go through the Vietnamese list and gets the sts to come to the board and write the English words again.
_ Teacher has sts read the dialogue and remind the questions which teacher asked Lan.
_ Teacher uses the situation in the dialogue to present to sts the sentences in Direct speech and Reported speech.

_ Teacher has sts practice the dialogue in pairs.
+ Students practice the dialogue in pairs. Then change the roles of the dialogue.
_ Teacher calls pairs of sts to practice in front of class.
_ Teacher corrects sts’ mistakes in pronunciation if possible.
_ Teacher asks sts to read the list of questions of the English Oral examination in the box.
_ Teacher has sts read the dialogue in silence again to find the indirect speech . Then compare with the direct speech of the Oral exam given in the box.
+ Students read the dialogue and work individually. Then check (() the boxes. After that compare with the partners.
