I. Aim: By the end of the lesson,Ss will be able to ask and answer about someone.
II.Language contents:
a.Vocabulary: who, Miss, Mr, Mary.
b.Sentence pattern: Who`s that? It`s Tony.
c. Skill: listening , speaking and writing.
III.Techniques: chain game, rubout and remember
IV. Resource and teaching aids:
- Resource: Book page 24.
- Teaching aids: Cassette, pictures, extra paper.
V.Procedure:
1. Warm-up( 5 minutes)
* Play chain game:
S1: I`m Mai. S2: I`m Mai. I`m Nam. S3: I`m Mai. I`m Nam. I`m Ngân.
2. Presentation:(10 minutes)
T explains the new words.
- who (translation): ai - Miss (translation): cô (chưa lập gia đình)
- Mr (translation): ông
* Game: rubout and remember
* Explain sentence pattern: Who`s that? - It`s Tony.
* Language note :
-Show ss the difference between This and That, using gesture ( pointing at something near and far)
3. Practice:(13 minutes)
1- Look, listen and repeat. (page 24)
-T introduces the situations.
-T has ss listen and repeat after the tape.
-T elicits the model sentences and the form.
-Ss copy down.
* Ex:
Who’s that?
It’s Tony.
* Form:
Who’s that?
It’s + name
2 - Point and say (page 24)
-T gives instructions.
-T models the 1st picture with a student.
-T asks ss to do the task in pairs.
-T invites some pairs to speak out and gives comments.

V.Procedure:
1. Warm-up:(5 minutes)
