II. Presentation:
4.Listen and tick :
-Have Ss open the book page 7, and describe the pictures.
-Set the scene: “you are going to listen to the recording, match the information and tick the correct picture.”
-Play the recording all the way through for Ss to listen while they are looking the pictures in their books.
-Play the recording .
-Have Ss trade their answers in pairs for correction.
-Play the recording for Ss to check their answers.
-Ask some questions to ensure Ss’ comprehension of the listening text.
-Give the key: 1-a, 2-b.
5. Let’s write.
-Have Ss look at the table on page 7.
-Ask Ss what they have to do in this task.
-Ask them to discuss and complete the blanks with given words.

-Have SS look at the song “ hello” at their books.

-Play the tape a few times.
-Ask Ss to read aloud each line in the song.
-Ask them to listen again and repeat.

-Play the tape once to reinforce their pronunciation.

-Educate Ss to say hello when they meet.
-Have Ss learn how to introduce themselves.
