+ Know something about English spoken countries.
+ Introduce the book “Let’s learn English” with 4 themes: You and me, My school, My family, The world around us.

1. Warm up:
- All class sing a Vietnamese song.
- Asking and answering some questions about Student’ learning habits.
2. Presentation:
a. Introduce something about English
- T introduces, Ss listen.
+ English is popular in the world
+ Many countries use it to be their mother tongue
+ It’s not too difficult to learn
b. Introduce some English spoken countries in the world
+ United Kingdom. America, Australia, Newzeland, Singapore...
c. Present books
Student book:
- Beautiful and colourful
- Make acquaintance with some
characters in the book: Alan,
LiLi, Linda, Peter Nam, Mai
Work book:
- Many kind of interesting
exercises .
- T gives some remarks and make carefull recommendations to the next lesson.
3. Practice:
- T may let Ss play a game.
4.Homework:
- Prepare Unit 1- A 1, 2, 3

- Sing a song

Skills: Reading, listening and speaking.
Instruct Ss to be confident when speaking English.
