Planning: Period 1: INTRODUCTION
Teaching:
A. Aims:
To help ss know the main points of the English 6 form.
This book consists of 16 units , each unit has different topics.
After studying it, ss can use their knowledge in 4 skills with elementary level.
B. Objectives:
- By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to know about English 6 and how to learn it.
C. Materials:
- board, textbook.
D. Ways of working:
- TWC, WCT, individuals.
E. Anticipated Problems:
Some ss may be It may be difficult for the bad ss to remember all the main points of teacher’s introduction about subject and the way to study it.
It may not have enough time to introduce all content.
F. Procedures :

I. INTRODUCE THE ENGLISH 6
- English 6 is the first book for 4 years secondary school in Viet Nam.
- English 6 helps you to be acquainted with English and help you to listen, speak, read and write English.
- English 6 has 16 units. There are 2 – 3 sections A, B, C in each unit. There are 1 or 2 periods in each sections.
A. The first is the pictures which make you want to come nearer the title and important point of unit.
B. Introduce the new former as Listen – Repeat / Listen – read . You can learn words and structures in real situation
C. " Ask – Answer / Practice with a partner / match / true – false " is used to examine the new former. This section help you understand words and structures or the content and the information in the lesson before practicing.
D. There are many exercises about listening, speaking, reading, and writing to practice the new former.
E. " * exercise " is homework. It helps you widen or consolidate the lesson.
F. " Remember " is important point of the lesson.
G. " Grammar practice is Synthetic exercises to help you consolidate the structure after 2 or 3 lesson.
H. Finally there is Grammar and glossary.

- Study to count 0 – 5

- By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to introduce yourself & count 0 – 5.

- Textbook, board, cards, visuals.
D. Ways of working :
- TWC, WCT, teamwork, group work, pair work & individuals.
E. Anticipated Problems:
- Some weak ss may get difficult in Dictation.
F. Procedures :
