The simple present (SP) Vs present continuous (PC):
Ex: He likes apples hobby (SP)
He’s eating an apple temporary action (PC)
She gets up at 6 o’clock habit (SP)
She’s getting up at 7 o’clock this week (PC)
Some verbs are not normally used in the present continuous:
Have (possessive), like, want, need, remember, forget, belong to ...
Ex: I need to talk to you now
NOT: I’m needing to talk to you now.
