a. Structure of English 6:
- Sách Tiếng Anh 6 gồm 16 đơn vị bài học với 16 chủ điểm được phát triển từ 6 chủ
điểm lớn và được chia nhỏ theo các mục. Mỗi phần tương ứng với một nội dung có liên
quan đến chủ điểm chung của bài học.
- Mỗi bài học trong tiếng Anh 6 được phát triển theo các bước:
Giới thiệu bài học - giới thiệu ngữ liệu mới - luyện tập - vận dụng và củng cố. Trình
tự các bước trên gấn liền với các kỹ năng nghe - nói - đọc - viết.
- Sau 3 bài học có 1 phần Grammar Practice và 1 bài kiểm tra 45'
- Cuối sách là phần tổng kết ngữ pháp và từ vững cả năm học

5. Giới thiệu cách học Tiếng Anh
a. Trên lớp:
- Trật tự lắng nghe giáo viên giảng bài, hăng hái phát biểu ý kiến.
- Rèn luyện và giao tiếp bằng Tiếng Anh trong giờ học Tiếng Anh, hạn chế sử dụng
Tiếng Việt.
- Mạnh dạn phát âm chuẩn, thực hành nói nhiều.
b. Học ở nhà
- Học bài cũ: học từ vựng, ngữ pháp của bài học trước.
- Đọc lại bài khóa nhiều lần để nhớ từ vựng.
