Ask them to look at 6 pictures quickly in 30 seconds and try to remember the verbs in the pictures as many as possible.

Get Ss to listen to the dialogue while looking at their books .

C. Procedure :
I. Warm up : * KIM’S GAME Picture

Divide the class into 2 teams.
Show the picture of a kitchen (p.28) to Ss
Ask them to look at the things in the picture
for 30 seconds)
Take away the picture and ask Ss to write
down as many things as they can remember.
Which team having more things wins the game.
II. Presentation :
Ask Ss the positions of the items in the picture on the BB .
Ask Ss to look at the picture and show the positions of the things in the kitchen. Using the prepositions : in, at, on, next to, above, under, between...
+ Where is the clock? ( It’s above the fridge )
+ Where is the fruit ? (on the bowl)
+ the flowers? (on the table)
+ rice cooker? ( next to the bowl of fruit )
+ cupboard? knives? dish rack?...
III. Practice :
Get Ss to work in pairs, talking about the position of each item.
S1 : Where is the calendar ?
S2 : It is on the wall, under the clock and above the refrigerator.
S1 : Where is the bowl of fruit ?
S2 : It is between the rice cooker and the dish rack .

Each group discuss where to put

Call 2-3 groups stick their pictures on board and talk about their ideas.

I. Warm up : * Bingo
Ask Ss to write 5 things they can eat .
Prepare a list of food, then call out in a loud voice .
Ss listen to the teacher carefully.
If anyone has the same things, they cross them out. The first person crossing out all 5 things shouts “Bingo’ and wins the game.
Suggested list of food : cake, beef, chickens, candy, noodles, bread, rice, peas, garlic, fish, ham, onion ...
