I. OBJECTIVES:
Teaching aim: At the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to practice speaking more fluently using “Be going to”, review vocabulary about activities in free time.
II. PREPARATIONS: book, extra-board, cassette tape

1.Warm - up: (5’)
- Get students to ask questions and answer.
+ What are you going to do tomorrow?
+ I’m going to do my homework.

2. Presentation: (8’)
- Set the scene: Lan and Tuan are talking about their near future plans.
- Give new words:
+ tonight (adv)
+ match (n) ( soccer match
+ movie theater (n)
- Put the dialogue on the board. Ask Ss to guess the missing words.
Tuan: What are you going to do tonight?
Lan: I’m going to (1) _________ .
Tuan: What are you going to do tomorrow?
Lan: It’s Sunday. I’m going to (2)_____. Then we are going to (3)______. What about you?
Tuan : Tonight, I’m going to (4) _____ . Tomorrow I’m going to (5)______ .
- Call Ss to read the answer.

3.Practice: (20’)
- Get Ss to read the dialogue (B1, page 144) and check.
Lan: Tonight- do homework.
Tomorrow- visit-see a movie.
Tuan:Tonight- play badminton.
Tomorrow- watch asoccer
- Have Ss base on dialogue part 1, make similar dialogue
a) tonight: see a movie
tomorrow: go walking
b) tonight: help my mom
tomorrow: play volleyball
- Have Ss to practice in pairs.
- Call some pairs to check and correct their mistakes.

4. Production: (10’)
- Ask Ss listen to the dialogue (B3).
- Ask Ss to practice the dialogue.
- Ask Ss play game “Chain game”
Ask Ss to get into groups of four or five.
