I. Aims:
- To help ss review to tell the time, school vocabulary and the present tense.
- To develop ss’skills.
II. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to tell the time, to use the school vocabulary to talk about subjects they learn.
III. Ways of working: T-WC, team work, pair work, individual work.
IV. Materials:Text book, pictures.
V. Anticipated problems: The lesson may take time
VI. Teaching steps:
1. Warm up: (5 minutes) * Greet and check the ss’attendance.
* Revision:Ask Ss some questions about time:

a. 7.00 b. 6.30 c. 8.45 d. 2.15

Eg:a) T: What time is it?
S: It’s seven o’clock.
T. introduces the lesson.

1.Giờ chẵn:
Eg: 7.00 = seven o’clock
8.00 = eight o’clock
2. Giờ lẻ:
a. Giờ hơn: + giờ + phút
+ phut + past + giờ
Eg: 8.10 = eight ten/ ten past eight
b. Giờ kém: + giờ + phút
+ phút + to giờ
Eg: 9.45 = nine forty/ fifteen to ten
Note: a quarter = 1/4 = fifteen
half = 1/2 = thirty
6.30 = half past six
7.15 = a quarter past seven
