    Objectives
    By the end of the lesson, students will be able to
    + Talk about popular after-school activities.
    + Review how to make and reply suggestions.
    Language contents
    +Vocabulary :together, team, come along, maybe
    +Structure :Let’s go to the cafeteria. (review)
    Techniques
    Matching, pair work, rub out and remember, group work, true – false statements
    Teaching aids :Pictures, CD player, projector, screen, speaker, laptop, 12 magnets, handout, extra board, 4 white board markers, chalks.

    1. Warm-up : Matching game
    To motivate the ss and lead into the new lesson
    Match name of these pictures with a suitable activity.
    T : Guides them to play (2 groups of 2 students)
    SS: Play game in 30 seconds
    Pic 1: go to the cafeteria
    Pic 2: play the guitar
    Pic 3:do math homework
    Pic 4: play volleybal
    Pic 5: listen to music
    Pic 6: relax
    T: corrects and decides who winner is
    T : Leads into new lesson by asking
    When do you do these activities.
    Do you do these activities at school or after school ?

    2. Presentation
    To teach vocabulary and structure
    T: shows 2 pictures and set up a context
    This is Minh and this is Hoa. They are students in grade 7. Today, they will tell us theirafter school’s activities. Listen and find out the new words.
    T: Asks SS to look at the conversation then listen and find out the new words
    T: Plays the recording
    SS : Listen.
    T: Helps SS to find out new words and meanings (picture, synonyms, context)
    T: Asks SS to repeat chorally /individually /
    T: Asks SS to try to remember the new words in 30 seconds
    T: Checks new words :Rub out and remember.
    T: Presents structure by asking “what does Minh suggest Hoa do on tomorrow Sunday ?”

    T: Review the structure (Ss have learnt in English 6, unit 14, section C)
    T: asks ss to base on the structure and give the form of giving suggestion

    Task 1: Give and reply your friend’s suggestions
    T: Gives ss some pictures and asks them to practice with their partner.

    Task 2 : Practice the conversation with a partner
    T: Asks SS to practice the with their partner (pair)
    T: Asks one pair to go to the board and practice in front (pays attention in ss’s pronunciation)
    Task 3 : True or false. Corrects the false.
