I. Objectives
By the end of the lesson, Ss can be able to know about the largest population cities in the world and their problems, talk about the disadvantages of living in an overcrowded places
1. Knowledge, Skills, Attitude:
a. Knowledge:
- Vocabulary: the items related to things to overcrowded cities
- Grammar: Comparisons of quantifier: more, less / fewer
b. Skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
c. Attitude: Be concerned about the causes and effects of overpopulation
2. Capacity is formed and developed for students
- Self – learning capability
- Communicative competence
II. Preparation
1. Teacher: text book, extra board, cassette tape and real objects.
2. Students: textbook, notebook, workbook.

1. Warm up (5’)

T asks Ss to look at the list of cities and see if they have appeared in their list on the board.
Ss discuss the question in pairs and then as a class.
-Read the passage quickly and put the cities in the order of their population size
