- T shows Ss to chart from handout
- T asks Ss to put the sentences in logical orders about 5 minutes .
Ss have to work in groups .
- T walks around class to control .
T can give some more explanation if necessary .

- Aftet time is over , T calls some Ss from some groups go to Bb and write down their ansers .
- T asks other comments and gives corrections at the end .


- T shows Ss the hand out with the complete description on BB . From the description , T gives Ss some questions to SS .

1. There are three parts in the description of a chart: introduction, body and con clusion
- Introduction: should describe what overall trends you see
- Body should describe the most important trends, while all information is summarized to avoid unnecessary details. Notice how many distinctive features diagram has
* you notice to write about all the periods of time and all the subjects of the graph. Remember, summarizing doesn’t mean throwing away information. The secret here is to select what’s important, organize it, compare and contrast
- Conclusion should sum up the global trends shown on the figure and compare them if possible
