I) AIMS AND OBJECTIVES.

* To provide students with a new writing – write to describe the preparations of their collection
+ LANGUAGE FUNCTION:
* To express or describe information about their own collection
+ EDUCATIONAL AIM:
* Students can read the information and write a description about a collection

+ To educate in students awareness of keeping good hobbies.
II) TEACHER AND STUDENTS` PREPARATION.
1/ Method : Communicative approach.
2/ Techniques : Game: Find words going with “Collect”, Chatting, Translation, Using example, Explanation, Repetition
3/ Materials needed: Lesson plan, Textbook, Handout, Color chalk
4/ Students` preparation:
* Read the guiding books and grammatical books before going to school.
* Prepare the writing
III) PROCEDURES IN CLASS.
1. Stabilization: (1 minute)
* Greeting the students and asking them something about the attendance, their health, the weather and preparation
2. Checking-up the previous knowledge: (5 minutes)
* Calling two students to write down their assignments on the B/B (the reports on their friends’ hobbies)
Suggested answers:
Many people have hobbies. They make our life more interesting. A hobby is what people like to do when they have free time. Everyone chooses a hobby according to his character and taste. Some people are fond of music, others like to read books. Some people like to collect stamps, coins or badges, others prefer cooking. Generally speaking, a hobby is a matter of taste.
My friend’s hobby is playing computer games. In fact, both grown-ups and children are fond of it now. I totally agree with him because it has become one of the most popular hobbies nowadays. He thinks that playing with a computer is very interesting and it is not only "wasting time" as some people say.
Computer games make him think things over properly, they widen and develop his mind and imagination. He also has a good collection of different games and when he has some free time he plays them with great pleasure.
