Procedures:
1. Fill the gaps
Set the scene:
Have Ss look at the pictures and introduce five characters.
Teacher describe the content of each picture.
Miu and Chit are on the way to somewhere. By accident, they meet Maurice in front of her house. Chit and Maurice talk about Maurice’s house and what she liked playing
Ss look at the picture and read the story and fill in the gaps
Ss look at the picture carefully, listen to the tape and check

1st reading: Ss read the questions individually and understand them.
2nd reading: Ss do the task
Monitor the activity and offer help when necessary
Have Ss trade the answers in pairs for correction
Call on some Ss to report their answers. Others listen and comment.
