1. Warm up

+ Greeting by English
+ Call the roll in order to remember the students’ name.


 2. Look, listen and repeat

- Ask Ss the names of the characters and what they say. Tell them they are going to hear Mai and Nam greet each other.
- T uses puppets to present this situation
- Ask Ss repeat again.
- Say the difference between Hi/Hello
- Listen. Guess where they are

3. Point and say

- Ask Ss look at the pictures

- Call one pair to act out the greeting exchange.
- Work in pairs

- Identify the characters in the picture. Fill the bubbles and repeat a few times.

4. Let’s talk

- Ask Ss look at the pictures

- Point to the pictures and ask Ss to guess what the girl would say to greet each other.
