1. Presentation:
a. Pre-teach vocab:
- American /ә`merikәn/ (N): người Mĩ.
- English /`iŋgli(N): người Anh.
- Singaporean /siŋә`po:riәn/ (N): người Singapore.
- Vietnamese /vietnә`mi:z/ (N): người VN.
* Checking vocab: R.O.R
- Have S.s repeat and rub out the English words(one at a time), leave the Vietnamese translations.
- When all the English words are rubbed out, go through the Vietnamese list, and get the S.s to call out the English words.
- Get S.s to take notes.
b. Presentation Dialogue: A.1 - P.10- TB
- Ask S.s to look at the picture and the dialogue on P.10(T.B) carefully.
- Ask S.s to listen to the dialogue carefully and then repeating it in chorus (3 times).
- Give out the M.S to talk about the countries and nationalities on the board and explain the meaning of them carefully.
* Model Sentences:
- I`m from [Vietnam]. I`m [Vietnamese].
- Read the M.S as a model.
- Ask S.s to repeat the M.S on chorus.
- Call on some S.s to read the M.S aloud in front of the class.
- Correct and give feedback.
- Ask S.s to read the dialogue in pairs.
- Call on some pairs of S.s to read the dialogue aloud in front of the class.
- Correct and give feedback.
2. Practice: A.2 - P.11 - TB
- Ask S.s to look at the pictures and people of A.2 on P.11(T.B) carefully.
- Ask S.s to reread the M.S.
- Ask S.s to play the roles of Mai, Alan, Linda and Peter to talk about the countries and nationalities of them.
- Call on some S.s to play the roles of them to talk aloud in front of the class.
- Correct S.s` mistakes if necessary.
- Give feedback.

3. Further Practice: A.3 - P.11 - TB
- Explain the request of the exercise on P.11 (T.B) carefully.
- Ask S.s to use the M.S which they`ve just learnt to talk about themselves.
