Context :





* Introducing the new lesson:
+ Have Ss to observe the two pictures at page 30 and identify the characters in each picture
+ Tell them that they are going to ask and answer questions about toys.
* Presentation the dialogue:
- Play the CD twice.
- Have Ps listen to the CD & repeat.
- Correct the pronunciation errors when necessary.
- Make some questions to check pupil’s comprehension of the language.
* Sentence Patterns:
Do you have a robot?

2/ Point and say:




Interaction:

- Tell Ps that they are going to practicing asking and answering answer questions about toys.
- Use the first picture as an example and put the questions and answer on the board
- Have Ps repeat the sentences a few times.
- Do choral and individual repetition, pointing to the characters speaking
- Ps practice in pairs. Monitor the activity, check the pronunciation (stress, assimilation of sounds and intonation), and offer help when necessary).
- Call on some pairs to perform the task at the front of the class. The rest of the class observe and give comments if possible.
- Make a few questions to check pupils’ comprehension of the language.
- Have the whole class repeat all the phrases in chorus to reinforce their pronunciation.

Follow - up:

- Tell Ps that they are going to practise more with their friends.
- Point to each picture eliciting the instructions.
- Ask Ps to guess what the teachers say.
- Fill the gaps and write the sentences on the board.

- Get Ps work in pairs to interact.
- Call a few pairs practise in front of the class.
- Check Ps’ pronunciation.
