The Fable of the Tortoise and the Rabbit
On a cool morning, on the shore of a clear blue lake, Tortoise was practicing running.
Rabbit passing by, seeing this, burst out laughing and mocking:
"You should stop doing that useless thing." In the whole forest, everyone knows that his family name is the slowest species.
The tortoise looked up and replied:
– I practice running to be healthy.
Rabbit says:
- I`m telling the truth! Even if you spend your life running, you will never be able to keep up with me.

The rabbit laughed and said:

The rabbit frowned, raised his ears proudly:
All right! I`ll show you.
Turtles and rabbits have a convention to take the old tree stump across the lake as their destination and then they both enter the starting line.
Rabbits are still arrogant:
I`m going to run halfway there!
Knowing that he was slow to touch, the Turtle said nothing, just focused on running fast.
The rabbit looked on smiling, clapping and cheering the Turtle.
The rabbit thought, "It`s not glorious to run and win him now. So that whenever the Turtle gets close to the place, I launch to the finish line first to make him admire more and more."
So the Rabbit grazed, chasing and playing with the butterflies along the road. Playing, the Rabbit forgot about the whole competition.
The rabbit is drilling in a dim lim watching the clear blue sky, the clouds drifting lightly. Rabbit suddenly woke up to remember the contest. With his head up, the turtle was nearing its destination. The rabbit with its head plugged its neck but couldn`t make it. The turtle has finished a long way ahead of the Rabbit.
