UNIT 12 : THE ASIAN GAMES

I. Objective : By the end of the lesson, students will be able to :

I. Warm – up : ( 7’)
- Divide class into 2 groups and distributes wordcards for each group.
- Show some pictures and askes groups to match the name of the sports with them, Winners will be group, who finish first.








- Call some Ss to give their answer
- Check the answers with the whole class
and give feedback.
II. Before you read. ( 10’)
- Introduce the topic of the lesson : The Asian Games
- Ask Ss to discuss the following questions in pair.

How many countries take part in the Asian Games ?
What sports is Vietnam best at ?

- Call on some Ss to present their answers and give comments from other students
